When author Cory Doctorow introduced the term, “whuffie,” in 2003, it meant reputation-based currency.  But now whuffie has become synonymous with the general concept of social capital.  It’s that word of mouth that can help launch a business and take it to new heights.

And making whuffie — or helping your customers to help build your business — is what social commerce technology company, Bazaarvoice, does so well for clients like Sears, Dell, Home Depot and many others around the world.

The team here at Go9Media is very excited to get in on the action.  Marketing and Business Development Manager Tracy Hinson just inked a deal with Bazaarvoice to redevelop the Web site for their U.S. operations.

This also gives us the chance to work with the incomparable talent at Frank + Victor Design.  And with any luck, we’ll make a little whuffie of our own along the way…
